This New Solid Perfume Looks Like a Lipstick and It’s Top Tier Compared to Traditional Formulas (2025)

Noyz, the personal scent brand launched by Moon Oral Beauty and Neff Headwear founder Shaun Neff, has released perfumes that look more like lip balms than fragrance. The new products are solid versions of the brand’s existing scents; my favorite is Lost + Found, a woody, ambery skin scent with a subtle citrusy twist. I’m a big fan of the format—instead of digging your fingers into a pot, you can take the stick and directly apply the product to your pressure points. Plus the packaging is refillable, and the cap is magnetized for a satisfying “click” every time you close it.

Although I’m lucky enough to try a variety of hair tools, I’m very picky about what I actually keep since I have such limited space in my New York City apartment. Case in point: I only own one hair dryer, and it’s from T3. It’s powerful, reliable, and does what I need it to do, which is dry my hair as quickly as possible without dialing up the frizz. So when I found out that the brand was launching a brand new hair dryer, I had to keep myself from physically jumping up and down. The Aire IQ is just as high-tech and fancy as it looks—with a few simple taps, it’ll instantly adjust its settings to suit your hair type and desired result. There are also three handy attachments (including a diffuser), and it comes with its own magnetic and compact stand. It’s also so pretty that you’ll want to display it on your bathroom counter instead of shoving it into the black hole that is the cabinet under the sink.

If chapped lips are the bane of your existence, especially during these cold, blustery months, board-certified dermatologist Dr. Shereene Idriss has a technique you should try: Lip basting. Put simple, you go in with a chemical exfoliator before slathering your lips in a more nourishing and soothing formula. Her new lip duo is specifically designed for her signature hack and promises to prevent lips from getting flaky in the first place with consistent use.

Products like the new Eye Wardrobe are why Victoria Beckham Beauty has my heart forevermore. They’re the epitome of makeup that makes you feel fancy but also actually performs and makes your life easier. The curated color combinations in the collection take the guesswork out of putting together a cohesive eyeshadow look, but they provide enough variety in hue and finish that they’re definitely not one-trick ponies. They’re also so creamy and blendable that I can swipe them on with my fingers if need be, and the refillable brass palettes are meant to last for years to come.

I showed this compact to a friend the other day, and she exclaimed that it looked and felt like a piece of art. I’d have to agree; the weighty mirror, with its fluid shape and abstract design, is a pleasure to look at and makes me smile every time I pull it out for a midday touch up. The brand that did the impossible—make hand sanitizer sexy—is here to conquer a new frontier: Body mists. This new collection, which comes in the same leak-proof and travel-friendly packaging as Touchland’s first product, features eight fragrances whose formulas include skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid, panthenol, and niacinamide. Every time I pull out my Touchland hand sanitizer, I have multiple people begging for a spritz, and I have no doubt that it’ll be the same case for these new mists. They’re a lot more convenient than carrying around an entire full-size bottle of fragrance, I’ll tell you that.

The benefits of using a microfiber towel to dry your hair (quicker dry, prevents frizz, etc.) is old news by now, but I will tell you that the Crown Affair version is by far the most effective and luxe one I’ve ever experienced. Something about the waffle knit makes it feel even more comfortable and gentle on the hair, and it has stayed plush no matter how many times I’ve washed it. There’s a new black version in town for anyone who dyes their hair and hesitated to try the white one for fear of staining it—now, you have no excuses.

It’s essentially five serums in one, thanks to the inclusion of vitamin C, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and peptides. But it doesn’t stop there—the creamy texture makes it so that the formula can act as a standalone moisturizer as well, and it’s fortified with SPF 30 protection.

Although Le Labo’s latest really does smell like a spa, I’m sick of using that descriptor, so let’s try something else. Imagine you’re in a small desert town where every step you take kicks up dust. You enter a vintage shop where they sell old leather goods, hand-crafted cowboy hats, ancient wooden furniture, and incense. An overgrown eucalyptus plant stretches out in the corner. I don’t know if a place like that exists, but if it did, it would smell like Eucalyptus 20.

Following the success of her hydrogel eye patches, Beverly Hills-based plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Catherine Chang developed a mask designed to treat, repair, and lift the rest of the face. Dove’s latest body wash is so packed with plant-based moisturizers and other hydrating ingredients that you may even be able to skip applying body lotion post-shower.

Augustinus Bader, creator of celebrity-loved luxury skin care, and La Bonne Brosse, maker of beautiful, artisanally crafted hair brushes (including some of my personal top picks), have teamed up to create the ultimate detangling brush. The Augustinus Bader-blue tool features looped nylon fibers that are tough on tangles but gentle on the scalp, and it’s designed to be effective on all hair types. The bristles also stimulate blood flow in the scalp and even encourage more optimal product absorption, especially when used with Augustinus Bader’s growth-promoting hair formulas.

To mark the 15th anniversary of Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle’s Portrait of a Lady Eau de Parfum, the perfumery has debuted a special edition of the scent, housed in a fire-engine red vessel. “This is one of the most special perfumes I own—it’s an absolutely spellbinding blend of rose, black currant, raspberry, patchouli, and amber,” says Katie Berohn, ELLE beauty editor. “If any scent deserves a celebration, it’s this one—plus, the beautiful red bottle will look great on any vanity.” This would make an incredible gift for the fragrance lover in your life.

Don’t get it twisted—Dewy Flush may have a tint to it, but Glow Recipe designed it to be just as nourishing and skin-loving as the rest of its line. The formula not only adds a flush of color but also delivers brightening niacinamide, plumping hyaluronic acid, and soothing centella asiatica. “Glow Recipe is the reigning champion for dewy skin, and their first foray into color cosmetics is an instant classic,” says Berohn. “These glowy blushes fuse skincare with makeup for the most luminous finish.”

Diptyque has repackaged two of my favorite candles of all time, creating a Valentine’s Day duo packaged in special-edition red and pink vessels. “Celebrity favorite Diptyque candles Baies and Roses are the quintessential home scents for anyone that wants to strike a mood,” Berohn adds. “This limited edition duo will add a splash of color to any space.” You could keep one and gift the other to the special someone in your life or treat yourself and burn them both at the time for a fresh, customized scent (which is what I will be doing).

“Oak Essentials is one of my favorite natural skincare brands,” says Berohn. “Their new serum uses an innovative pea peptide to plump skin and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.”

Fun fact: Ilia was actually supposed to launch these eyeshadow sticks in September 2023. However, in response to feedback from beauty editors about the packaging, the brand decided to postpone the release; the team workshopped the product again for another year, and the grape extract-infused sticks have now finally hit the market. With a whopping 20 debut shades (eight matte ones and 12 shimmers), there truly is an option for everyone.

Just as sensitive skin needs gentler products, so does a sensitive scalp—irritation can lead to some unpleasant conditions, including dandruff, persistent itchiness, and even hair loss. This National Eczema Association-approved shampoo from Raw Sugar Living soothes and hydrates inflamed scalps with a cocktail of jojoba oil, aloe, calendula, and meadowfoam seed oil.

American perfumery Fulton & Roark found the inspiration for its latest scent in Ghost Tree, a surfing hotspot by Pebble Beach, CA, known for its jaw-dropping waves. The area is dotted with Monterey Cypress trees, which are thought to resemble ghosts and inspired the surfing locale’s nickname. When you get a whiff of the fragrance, you get a whiff of salty water and air, as if you’re standing on the coast, watching surfers battle the sea. Meanwhile, the white cypress and driftwood notes capture the aroma of the trees nearby, and juniper berry and pink peppercorn add a crispness that jolts you awake. I’ve never been to Ghost Trees, but this fragrance almost makes me miss it.

This is not a drill: Pattern’s best-selling Curl Gel is now available in the fan-favorite Palo Santo Scent. In case you don’t know why so many swear by this product, the formula is packed with aloe vera, cacay, oil, and coconut oil. Once applied to curls and coils, hair instantly looks more defined but doesn’t feel crunchy or like it’s overloaded with product. As for the scent, it’s a blend of rose, neroli, and patchouli that’ll have you sniffing your own hair all day long.

I know summer still feels a ways away, but it’s time to think about your SPF plan as we plan our warm-weather beach trips and other days out in the sun. Lately, I’ve really been into sunscreen sticks—they distribute a decent amount of product without much work, and you don’t have to spend a lot of time rubbing them in. Kopari just launched one, and it has a mineral formula that’s sheer enough to not cause as much of a white cast as other zinc-based formulas.

If I had to describe Lawless in one word it’d be “plumping.” The beauty brand has garnered a cult following for its Forget The Filler line, a collection of products designed to volumize lips and blur wrinkles on the skin. Lawless’s Forget The Filler Lip Gloss is one of the only lip plumpers I can tolerate (it’s a little minty, but it’s never painful), and I can report that it actually works; I like to apply it while I do the rest of my makeup to prepare my lips for the matte lipstick I put on afterward. The newest addition to the family is this foundation, which is formulated to plump the skin, reduce the look of fine lines, and nourish the skin with a combination of vitamin E, glycerin, and capric triglycerides. The formula isn’t for the faint of heart—it’s pretty full coverage, but the satin finish helps it look less like you’re wearing a ton of makeup and more like you just have great skin.

Few brands can truly claim that they’ve created a never-before-seen product, but Danessa Myricks Beauty has created a multitude of unique, category-creating products that have made waves. One of those launches was the Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder, a balm-to-powder formula that can be used under, over, or even as foundation to erase pores and control excess oil production throughout the day. While the original was completely matte, however, the new Universal Radiant shade imbues the skin with a soft glow—it’ll still prevent sebum from poking through your makeup, but you’ll also look slightly dewy all day, like you’re being illuminated by candlelight.

I have a secret: I don’t like some of the most popular red light therapy masks on the market. It’s not because they don’t work—they do the job just fine. But often, they’re hefty and uncomfortable, or they don’t fit quite right, so I dread using them at all. Shark Beauty must’ve been listening in on my thoughts, because its new LED mask addresses all of those issues and more. Although the tool itself is on the weightier side, it has a set of VR headset-inspired straps that distribute the weight evenly and prevent it from slipping down your face, even when you’re sitting up. If you’re wondering about the actual mask, it has it all, including red, blue, and infrared LED lights, an attached remote with preset treatment options, and built-in under eye cooling patches. I haven’t been this excited to use a skin care tool in a long time.

Makeup artist Gucci Westman has built a reputation for her ability to make skin beautiful, and her beauty brand, Westman Atelier, is a direct reflection of that. With each release, it feels like she’s arming us with the ability to make our own complexions look incredible. Westman has launched several bronzing products before this one, including a powder bronzer, bronzing drops, and a bronzy highlighter I love using to warm up my face. However, this liquid formula is arguably her most natural-looking bronzer yet. Even on my pale skin, the drops seem to instantly melt in and make me look like I’ve come back from a vacation in Greece—and I don’t think anyone would clock that I have any makeup on.

Mutha’s second eye cream is an ode to the power of a good night’s sleep. The formula includes a blend of plumping peptides,various collagen-boosting extracts, and skin barrier-boosting postbiotics designed to help you look well-rested in the morning, no matter how much (or how little) sleep you may have gotten the night before.

Not only can you use this deodorant all over your body, but it’ll also cool you down as you apply it—sounds like a dream for the hot, humid days coming our way. Dove’s newest innovation is also aluminum-free and sensitive skin-friendly, and it also hydrates the skin with glycerin and vitamin E.

I used to be a moisturizer, SPF, and go type of girl, but my skin has been begging for more moisture recently. If I don’t layer a serum underneath, my face feels tight and uncomfortable by lunchtime. One of my favorites to use these days is this new one from Mara, which acts like a toner, essence, and serum in one; the product delivers actual pearl powder and marine collagen peptides to hydrate, plump, and soothe. The formula feels thin, so I was worried that it wouldn’t give me as much moisture as I need, but I’m happy to report that it proved me dead wrong.

I can’t get enough of this SPF, and I love how my skin looks when I wear it. I’m in such a rush most mornings to get ready that I’ll skip primer altogether, but I know that this sunscreen will pull triple duty and moisturize, protect, and add a glow all at once. Mineral sunscreens are especially great for those who may be sensitive to chemical ones, and I’m so happy that Supergoop! decided to launch a zinc oxide-powered version of its iconic Glowscreen. I use the shade Sunrise, which is more of a champagne color, but those with deeper skin or anyone who wants a more bronzey base also have the deeper shade Golden Hour as an option.

Following the decade-long success of its Lip Oil, Clarins has launched a new lip product to its roster: A matte, buildable, transfer-proof lip stain. While many lip stains can dry out your lips, the Water Lip Stain contains hyaluronic acid and organic raspberry water to help keep your lips soft and kissable while you wear it.

In case you haven’t heard, powder blush is back—and Saie’s SuperSuede Baked Powder Blush is a prime example. The formula comes in six curated shades, from a soft baby pink to a deeper terracotta brown, and they’re all quite pigmented; if you’re pale like me, be warned that a little goes a very long way. Once you apply it onto your skin, you’ll see that it blurs texture and has the softest, prettiest sheen.
