FULLTIME: Bledisloe Cup pain continues for Wallabies
Sam Worthington
WELLINGTON: Australia's Bledisloe Cup misery has continued after the All Blacks smashed their Sky Stadium hoodoo on Saturday night.
New Zealand had already locked the cup away for another year by beating the Wallabies in Sydney but Australia had the opportunity to end another unwanted streak in Wellington.
The Wallabies had not beaten the All Blacks in New Zealand since 2001 and that ugly record extended as the hosts turned the second half screws for a 33-13 win.
The victory snapped New Zealand's five game winless streak at the venue (two draws, three losses).
"Really pleased to reverse the curse," All Blacks captain Scott Barrett said on Stan Sport.
It was also a happy farewell to Sam Cane and TJ Perenara who were playing their final Tests on home soil.
The match was former captain Cane's 100th Test.
The Wallabies have finished last in the Rugby Championship with a 1-5 record.
"Obviously gutted, it's not the result we wanted. We struggled with possession in the second half," Australia captain Harry Wilson said on Stan Sport.
"New Zealand were defending really well, they had 15 men on their feet. We haven't got the results we wanted. I feel like we improved but we need to win."
Thanks for joining us tonight.
New Zealand 33 (Caleb Clarke 2, Sevu Reece, Will Jordan, Tamaiti Williams tries; Beauden Barrett 4 conversions) Australia 13 (Fraser McReight try; Noah Lolesio conversion, 2 penalties). HT: 19-13

Clarke lands crucial blow

Caleb Clarke has landed a crucial blow with another powerful try down the left edge.
Damian McKenzie set him up and Clarke proved unstoppable close to the line.
This could potentially get ugly for the Wallabies who now trail 33-13 after 65 minutes.
They just haven't been able to get their hands on the ball in the second half.
Perenara signs off as All Blacks try is scrubbed out
Sam Worthington
The All Blacks thought they had scored another try to Tupou Vaa'i but the TMO correctly intervenes and finds a Codie Taylor knock on in the buildup.
Meanwhile, TJ Perenara has just left the field to thunderous applause after playing his last Test on home soil before leaving for Japan.
Damian McKenzie is also on at No.10 with Beauden Barrett shifting to fullback and Will Jordan to the right wing as Sevu Reece departs.
The All Blacks lead 26-13 after 62 minutes.
Williams finally breaks Wallabies defence
Sam Worthington
Tamaiti Williams has finally broken the staunch Wallabies defence.
It was wave after wave of All Blacks attack and something had to give eventually.
The giant reserve prop was the man to do it with his huge frame proving too much to handle close to the line.
New Zealand lead 26-13 after 56 minutes.
The Wallabies must respond immediately.
Tupou in the wars again
Sam Worthington
We're back underway in the second half and Taniela Tupou is in the wars again.
Tupou now has a right shoulder issue to go with his right knee problem but he's going to stay on the park.
The All Blacks lead 19-13 after 41 minutes.
Remember New Zealand hasn't won any of their last five Tests in Wellington.
They look dangerous with ball in hand but are making way too many basic errors.
Clarke fires All Blacks into halftime lead
Sam Worthington
Caleb Clarke has fired the All Blacks into a halftime lead, running a brilliant line off Anton Lienert-Brown to score a try and ignite the Sky Stadium crowd.
Just as the Wallabies had done, New Zealand turned down an easy shot at goal to instead chase a try.
They went side to side to stress the Aussie defence and Clarke finished superbly.
That's a big blow against a very committed Wallabies side.
The hosts lead 19-13 at the break.
The sold out stadium is enjoying a genuine contest and the fact both sides are chasing tries and not penalties.
Lolesio boots Wallabies back in front
Sam Worthington
Noah Lolesio boots the Wallabies back in front with a penalty as they lead 13-12 after 36 minutes.
"This is a different Wallabies team," Jeff Wilson says in commentary.
Indeed, they are competing well in every area of the game and the locals are getting a little twitchy.
Jordan scores stunning try
Sam Worthington
What a freak he is.
Will Jordan scores a stunning try, slicing through the Wallabies defence and out of Fraser McReight's tackle to give New Zealand their first lead of the night.
It's All Blacks 12, Wallabies 10 after 23 minutes.
Taniela Tupou seems to have shaken off that early leg injury and is getting around the park OK.
